The Metkon Velox 102-JR fully automatic programmable grinding/polishing system is developed for operator free sample preparation for high-volume sample throughput starting from coarse grinding to fine grinding/polishing/fine polishing/cleaning and drying.

You only need to place the sample holders, select the program number for your specific application and depress the start button. That’s it! Your samples will be ready for analysis fully automatically. It helps to get high volume sample throughput starting from planar/coarse grinding to cleaning and drying.

You can configure grinding/polishing stations independently based on the specific requirement of the abrasives. Extremely flat specimen surfaces can be achieved through vibration free, robust steel construction.

A standard accessory of the Velox is the fully automatic sample cleaning station with eater and ethanol. All traces of contamination tightly adhering or embedded onto specimen surfaces can be done through optional ultrasonic cleaning.

Metkon’s Velox grinding and polishing machines/systems are available with four grinding/polishing stations (one coarse grinding, one fine grinding and two polishing) which can accommodate 250mm diameter wheel as well as 300mm diameter wheels.
