Meehanite organises regular technical conferences, which are attended by representatives of licensees from all over the world. These conferences are working technical conferences, dealing with all aspects of foundry operation and production, including new technology. The proceedings of these conferences are sent to all licensees.
The delegates were shown around one of the Meehanite licensed foundries in Japan
While there, Wiggill and other delegates were invited to visit the Mitsui Meehanite Metal Co. Ltd. This foundry is a heavy iron foundry making castings for ships engines, production moulds, tooling and jigs for machine tools and valve parts.
